If you are looking for cheap accommodation then you might want to consider Badawia.
There are a number of suprising positives about this bargain basement location. Not only are both the room prices and the internet connections considerably cheaper than neighbouring hotels but the internet actually works much better and faster.
The overall design of the hotel is also appealing. It is laid out in chalets bedouin style which allows you to feel part of a village rather than part of some giant hotel complex. The gardens are also reasonably well maintained, there's a large and impressive health club with a sauna, multiple massage rooms and jacuzzi and, perhaps the biggest suprise, a pizzeria which serves probably the best pizza anywhere in Egypt.

Secret Tip: If staying at the Badawia Resort you should try using the health club at the Al Nada resort just 500 metres down the road. It has an excellent reputation with frequent visits by Egyptian VIPs from Cairo.

Recent Reviews of Badawia at TripAdvisor.com have been mixed but when we last checked its' ranking was near the bottom of all listed Marsa Alam hotels.
